Description: Once a year, San Francisco’s famous Golden Gate Park plays host to the Outside Lands Festival. The festival is a celebration of the best of music, beer, wine, art, and more. This year’s lineup includes Radiohead, Ryan Adams, and Brandi Carlile among over 70 acts slated to perform. This is an eco-friendly festival that usually has over 200,000 in attendance. This is the eighth year for the festival, which in the past has featured huge headliners like Foo Fighters, Paul McCartney, and Kanye West.
FYF Fest 2016

Description: FYF Fest is an all ages, Los Angeles music festival that lasts two days and is now in its’ twelfth year. This year the schedule includes a wide variety of artists like LCD Soundsystem, Father John Misty, Kendrick Lamar, and Grace Jones.
Ohana Festival 2016

Where: Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California
Description: This is the inaugural year of Ohana Festival in Dana Point, California. With huge acts already on the bill, including Elvis Costello, Lana Del Rey, Eddie Vedder, and Band of Horses, it’s also donating some of the proceeds of the event to charity. Part of the proceeds go to San Onofre Parks Foundation, which works toward improving and maintaining the parks along California’s coastline. Access to the festival also allows ticketholders the chance to visit the grassy areas of Ohana State Beach.

Description: KAABOO is a festival that strives to make its’ attendees comfortable. With plenty of seating and shade to be found, it’s a difference experience from many music festivals. You’ll find a mix of classic acts like Collective Soul and Goo Goo Dolls alongside up and coming band’s like Nashville’s Future Thieves. In addition to music, the festival also features world class chefs, comedians, and more.
Sundown Music Festival

Where: Huntington Beach, California
Description: Sundown is a two-day festival where patrons commute back and forth to the event, rather than camp on site. The festival calls itself the ultimate beach party and musical festival. Tickets are available in both general admission and VIP types with lockers available to rent to store your belongings when you’re trekking around the grounds. This festival is known for hosting award winning DJS and turning Huntington Beach into one big dance party.
Animal Collective Camping Weekend
When: September 23-24, 2016
Where: Fernwood Resort in Big Sur, California
Description: Animal Collective Camping Weekend is the ultimate experience for Animals Collective fans. Not only are fans invited to camp out at the resort, but each night of the festival, Animal Collective will play. There are also sets expected from Jessica Pratt, Winter, The Range of Light Wilderness and more. Any rentals at the resort the weekend of September 23 and 24 will automatically include tickets to the festival.
