We dreamt of rounding up a fleet of vehicles: cars, trucks, and vans and make them available for rent in just ONE place. We envisioned providing professional and average drivers convenience in a snap.That lone businessman who needed a vehicle to explore the city while navigating to his meeting; that college student who needed a truck to move his furniture to a new apartment across town; or maybe that husband who required a van to take his wife and kids on a fun weekend fishing trip; we wanted to give them a place to rent a vehicle whenever they needed it. Avon was born out of this vision.We understand the role YOU play in our business. Unlike other rental companies, visiting Avon means you are more than just a passing face. You are part of our family. Avon is located in three easy-to-find spots in Southern California: Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica.After 36 years in the business, our vision remains the same: to provide accessible rental vehicles for our customers, our family. What started as a humble vision, a dream, transformed into one of the largest privately owned and independently operated vehicle rental services in the country.

Additional Drivers

All additional drivers must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license, and at least 25 years old if renting specialty vehicles. There is no charge to add an additional driver to a rental agreement.

Age Requirements

You must be at least 21 years of age or older to rent from Avon. All additional drivers must be at least 21 years of age as well. You must be at least 25 years of age to rent specialty vehicles. Please contact your Avon office for details.

Airport Drop Offs

Rental vehicles may be dropped off at various airports around Southern California. Please ask your rental agent about the availability and rates.

Airport Drop-off / Pick-up

Avon can have your vehicle waiting for you when you arrive at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). When you are ready to head home simply drop the vehicle back at the airport. Contact our office in Beverly Hills at 310-277-4455 to arrange airport service.

Cancellation Policy

All rental reservations must be cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled pick-up in order to avoid a cancellation fee.

Child Seats / Boosters

Child and Booster seats are available for your rental needs. Availability may be limited so please make reservations in advance. Daily rates do apply so please ask your reservations specialist at the time of reservation for rate details.

Contract Dates / Extensions

You may be asked to return to the Avon Rental office in order to extend any rental agreement. Contracted rates may change once your original return date has passed so please contact your rental office for details.

Coverages

You may choose to provide Avon with your own personal insurance coverage to cover the rental vehicle or accept our Loss Damage Waiver at time of rental. Please note that it is the renter’s responsibility to confirm coverage for rental vehicles through their personal insurance.

Credit Card Requirements

You must have a major credit card in your name with a minimum of $300 available for authorization. Debit and Check Cards may not be used to rent a vehicle, but may be used to pay rental changes at the time of return. Studios and production companies may use a Credit Card Authorization Form HERE.

Deposit Requirements

Credit card deposit amounts vary depending on the type of vehicle and length of the rental. Please remember that Debit and Check Cards may not be used to rent a vehicle, but are acceptable forms of payment.

Driving Restrictions / Mexico

Vehicles rented from Avon must stay within the California borders. Special arrangements may be made by each rental office as to other destinations. Please note that any vehicle traveling outside the authorized area is subject to a surcharge and may be in violation of the rental agreement.

Fuel Charges

Vehicles must be brought back with the same amount of fuel as we initially provided. If not, re-fueling charges will apply. Fees vary depending on pump prices so please refer to your rental agreement for rates.

Grace Period

Avon allows for a 1 hour grace period after your scheduled return time. Surcharges and full daily rates apply after the grace period has expired. Please refer to your rental agreement or call the rental office for details.

Hotel Service

Let Avon make your trip to Los Angeles a special one. Simply tell us where you are staying and we will deliver the vehicle of your choice when you need it. When you are ready to check out, just let the concierge know, and we will come get the vehicle. All of the details can be worked out before you fly in. The vehicle will be clean, full of fuel, and waiting for you at your hotel.

Insurance Requirements

The state of California requires that drivers carry automobile liability insurance. When renting a vehicle from us, please be prepared to show proof of your insurance. If you do not have your own insurance, you can purchase Rental Liability Insurance from us.Rental Liability Insurance is optional protection you can purchase when you rent a vehicle. It protects you against claims made by a third party for bodily injury or property damage sustained as a result of an accident while you are operating a rental vehicle. Rental Liability Insurance provides primary liability coverage up to the required financial responsibility limits of the state in which the vehicle is licensed. This coverage is primary insurance. It does not cover all situations that may arise while operating a rental vehicle. Additional information regarding Rental Liability Insurance can be found HERE.

Don’t get lost while on vacation. Avon carries state of the art navigation units that will help you get where you are trying to go. They can operate in most languages and have the most current maps loaded. When you make your reservation just ask to add one to your rental.

Parking Info

Avon has parking available at all three of our locations. Each location has different capabilities, so please take a look at the following information

Pick-Up & Delivery Service

Pick-Up and Delivery may be available within a 3 mile radius of our office. Minimum rental applies, so please contact the individual rental office for availability and restrictions.

Rental Requirements

You must have in your physical possession a valid driver’s license and a major credit card in the same name at the time of the rental. If you plan on declining our waiver, please bring proof of insurance with you when you pick up the rental car.

Return Info

Hollywood
You can return 24 hours per day. Our lot is located at 6901 Santa Monica Blvd., on the corner of Santa Monica Blvd. and Orange. There is a guard there who will check in the vehicle. This guard does not have any of the check out information so he will not be able to verify proper fuel levels or damage. Make sure you remove all of your belongings. If you return after regular business hours then your rental agreement will be closed the following day. If you have any questions, please call the branch at 323-850-0826.

Beverly Hills
When returning to the Beverly Hills office, just pull in and one of our staff will check in the vehicle. If you are returning after hours, you can drop your vehicle in the driveway of our office on Maple. There is a key drop-box on the side of our office. Please be sure to pull all the way forward, remove all of your belongings, and lock the vehicle. Your rental agreement will be closed the following day.If you have any questions, please call the branch at 310-277-4455.

Santa Monica
Our Santa Monica office has the same return procedures as our Beverly Hills office. When returning, just pull in and one of our staff will check in the vehicle. If you are returning after hours, you can drop your vehicle in the driveway. There is a key drop-box to the left of the front door of our office. Please be sure to pull all the way forward, remove all of your belongings, and lock the vehicle.
